#5 - Sending Email
Schedule or Send Your Email Blast
Once you’ve written and reviewed your email inside the Blast Editor, the final step is to either send it now or schedule it for later.
AudienceSend gives you both options, with full control over timing and delivery behavior.
How to Schedule or Send
- After finalizing your email content, scroll to the bottom of the Blast Editor
- You’ll see three primary options:
- Preview: View the message exactly as it will appear
- Save: Save the blast as a draft
- Next / Finalize: Proceed to send or schedule
- Choose your delivery method:
Option 1: Send Immediately
- Click Send Blast Now
- AudienceSend will begin sending the campaign right away to your selected recipients
Option 2: Schedule for Later
- Click on the Schedule button
- Select a future date and time for the email to go out
- Click Confirm
Optional Setting: Perfect Timing
- You can check the Perfect Timing box to let AudienceSend deliver each email when a recipient is most likely to open it — within a rolling 24-hour window based on past engagement patterns
After Sending: Where to Track Performance
Once your blast is scheduled or sent, you can monitor its status and results under:
Manage > Email Blasts
From there, you can:
- View all blasts
- Click the three dots (⋮) to edit or manage each one
- Track performance metrics like opens, replies, clicks, and bounces
Send a Test Email Before Launching
Before sending your blast to your actual list, it's best practice to send a test email to yourself or your team. This helps you confirm that formatting, links, personalization tokens, and layout all appear as expected — and lets you catch grammar or design errors early.
Why Testing Matters
- Validates visual formatting (especially across email clients)
- Verifies that tokens like
{{first_name}}
and{{company}}
render correctly
- Prevents deliverability or display issues caused by untested HTML or spintax
- Ensures your content is polished before it hits real inboxes
How to Send a Test Email in AudienceSend
- Finish creating your email blast
- Click the Send a Test Blast button
- Enter your own email address
- Click Send Test Email Blast
- Optionally, click the "+" icon to add additional email addresses for teammates or preview inboxes
You’ll receive a copy of the exact email that will go out — including subject, formatting, dynamic fields, and links — so you can check for issues before final scheduling or delivery.
