๐ง Overview
HubSpot is a unified customer platform combining marketing, sales, content, and customer service tools. You can connect HubSpot to AudienceSync by creating a private app that provides a secure access token to sync your data.
โ Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure the following:
- You have a HubSpot developer account
โก๏ธ Sign up for one here
- You have superuser admin access to create and authorize private apps.

๐ง Destination Setup Steps
1. Locate the Private Apps Section
- Go to your HubSpot account.
- Navigate:
Settings โ Integrations โ Private Apps
2. Initiate App Creation
- Click Create Private App
3. Define App Information
On the Basic Info tab:
- Name: Give your app a descriptive name
- Logo: (Optional) Upload a square logo
- Description: Briefly describe your appโs purpose
4. Specify Access Permissions
- Go to the Scopes tab
- Use the search bar to find specific data types
- Select "Write" access for the necessary scopes (e.g., Contacts, Companies, Deals)
5. Create the App
- Click Create app (top-right)
6. Review Access Token
- After creation, HubSpot will show your access token
- Copy and store this token securely
(Youโll use it to authenticate with AudienceSync)
7. Use in AudienceSync
- Paste the access token into the AudienceSync destination configuration for HubSpot
- This token enables the secure syncing of data to your HubSpot account
๐ Notes on Access Token Security
- Each private app has its own unique token
- Treat your access token like a passwordโkeep it private
- You can regenerate tokens from the private app settings if needed
